HELP!!!
Our team was able to sign up for the Championship a few weeks ago. In fact on our TEAM login it said we “owed” for the even. Today when I logged in it put us on the wait list. can anyone shed some info on this? Has it happened to anyone else? TEAM 549 was in tier 2… If we weren’t originally eligible, I don’t think it would have allowed our team to sign up…

As for the original question, things like this can happen with an organization as big as FIRST. As hard as it may be to reason, things can fall between the cracks.
I would call or e-mail FIRST immediately and see what happened.
Maybe it was a glitch in the registration system, or maybe there are other underlying reasons. I don’t know. But FIRST should.

If your team did not pay the $500 deposit within 10 days of signing up for the Championship then your team would have been removed from the Championship list a couple of days ago. I know several teams had this happen, not only for Championships, but for second regionals as well. If this is not what happened, contact FIRST and find out what is going on. Hope you get things resolved.
is there any chance for our team to go nationals if we did not register in the beginning or the only way to go is if you win a regional or chairman award. we really would like to attend this year, we are in tired 2
