Hey everyone,
Due to the large amount of mobile devices that can go online but not on to webcasts, I figured it would be a good idea to have a thread to discuss all the events of champs as they happen. I also figure that one thread is all we need for discussion about certain team’s triumphs, disappointments, and other awesome moments.
Thanks and have fun!
Awesome idea, especially for all of us stuck at home, in school/work wanting to watch webcasts(but can’t)
Anyone know whether the preliminary quals schedule is going to be changed? Doesn’t look like the quals schedules have been uploaded to the division pages just yet, so I’m not sure what’s going on there.
I’ve been keeping up using the FRC Spyder app for iPhone
As far as we know in the stands, it is remaining the same for at least Galileo
I wonder why FRC has not published the schedule on the main championship page.

The matches will be starting in less than 2 hours, but no online schedule yet.
Yeah, I was wondering if I needed to do a hard refresh on my browser to get the schedule to show up, but I guess it just isn’t online at this point.
Is Spyder really updated with the match schedule for you? I’ve been refreshing event info from within the app, and the schedule remains blank (not to mention that I thought the app just pulls the schedule from the appropriate webpage).
Same for Newton.
Well, any updates from practice matches? Any cool additions, did 118 add their 30 point?
118 just played, no 30 point to be seen. Over on Curie, 1717 redid their feeding mechanism and can now full court shoot.
1114 very narrowly missed a nasty fall. They fell from 30, but they managed to get wedged between the first and second rungs. If not for that, they would have landed on their shooter.
Does anyone have video of this?
Seconding the request for video, knowing how their climber works I’m having trouble understanding how it fell from 30
Maybe they got rotated a little bit or the arm pulled out of the robot?
I missed the game with 326 is the announcer saying the whole name?
They got 2/3 up to 30 and started twisting. Climbed successfully in their first match.
I attached a terrible picture of the aftermath. Not much I could do with the iPhone from my vantage point.
He did say the whole name prior to the start of the match.
Looks like they must have twisted off the corner since they are wedged on the side of the pyramid. They had a great showing in their first match on Galileo.
The announcer for Archimedes is Tom Nader, of course he is saying their whole name.
Current high score of 231, courtesy of teams 3824, 1706 and 16 on Curie.
