Changing award submitter...

Yeah. I know. We barely have time.
We need to submit our awards… and I as the team CEO have an alternate status TIMS and I have the login info of the main mentor’s TIMS…
how do I give my student user the permission to submit to the WFA, Chairman and Website award?

if your student already has an account log in here:

you have to set up an electronic roster with the info of all your team members. once you log in to TIMS hit the “edit” button next to your team name/number. then scroll to the bottom to Student Team members and click and follow directions to get awards submitters entered

I got to the part of the team members thing and the “award submitter” isn’t even a link! I seriously don’t know what to do…
do u have an email so that we can use the gmail chat or something? this thing just doesn’t seem to work :s

you need to have a student register through the student system.
If they are under 18, then parents need to confirm them.
(hint, pick someone over 18)

After they sign up, you go into TIMS and accept them, and then designate them as an award submitter.

I think they then get an email telling them they are selected, but not sure.

Then they can sign in to the first awards area and submit.

:mad: I just don’t get it… in my student account it says I’m a 3083 member, but in the TIMS it says “temporary number 2010387”

you cannot do the awards submittal through TIMS.

You have to sign in to the student area with your student ID.

I know… but I have to assign an award submitter, and I can’t if my TIMS is set on this #%$^$& temporary number…

Hopefully you won’t need this since it’s rather late…

Go ahead and log in as the main coach person. If you scroll down to “Student Team Member Summary,” and click on that, when you view a list of all of your team members, the column to the far-right (last one, in fact) should say “Awards Submitter.” If you just check the box for whichever students you want, and save, then the student should be able to log in on their Student Team Members system thing, and if they scroll to the bottom, they should have a box that details the award submissions.

However, I think only four people can be chosen to submit awards.
