Chezy Champs 2023

Good Afternoon!

We’re excited to announce that team applications for Chezy Champs 2023 are now open! This will be an off-season FRC tournament and we will be playing the 2023 FRC game, with some modifications (TBD). As in past years, the focus of the event is on the team experience and we hope teams will have a great time while enjoying an entertaining show.

What: Chezy Champs 2023 Off-Season FRC Tournament
When: Saturday & Sunday, September 30-October 1, 2023 (With Friday Night Load-In)
Where: Bellarmine College Prep, San Jose, California
Registration: $400 ($1000 for field-side pit)

Applications
Fill out this application form. Team selections will be made based on criteria that include competitiveness, locality, and other factors. Applications after May 21 will be placed on a wait list in case we have room or dropouts.

We filled out the application, but didnt get an email notification that it was submitted successfully.

I just sent a confirmation email to all teams whose applications have been received. 359 is all set.

This is an absolutely stellar event! I highly recommend it for teams, volunteers, and spectators. I won’t be able to make it this year, but I’ll tune in to the stream!

Applications close tonight. As of now, all teams who applied have been sent confirmations. If you didn’t get one, we don’t have your application.

Invitations Sent & Team List Posted

Invitations were sent to invited teams today. The Blue Alliance is the home of the up-to-date Chezy Champs 2023 team list.

Payment for the event will be due in July (details to come later).

The event does have a rather sizable wait list. If your team’s situation changes and you are no longer able to attend, please let us know via email as soon as possible so we can relinquish your spot to a team on the wait list.

Just wondering, what was the rationale behind not implementing Escanaba Tape Lines?

The shortened zones allow some blockading possibilities.

Additionally teams do use the current zone for acquiring cubes/cones that are tossed far by human players.
