Frank,

When you see the pictures of their robot, don’t forget to ask them where they got the idea for the drive system

Honestly though, I think that Wildstang outdid themselves this year. They really had a great robot.

Of course, I really never saw them run after their first MONSTER match with Beatty as a partner. After that, I more or less lived in the pits suffering through trying to get our robot working.

But…

NOT to fear. Chief Delphi 4 will live up to its impressive heritage (give us time).

As to Beatty, Fear and loathing for all who end up against them. Simple, elegant, functional, wonderful. Bill and Brian and the gang in Hammond out did themselves. No disrespect to DaimlerChyrsler/OSMTech, but Beatty was the class of Chicago, hands down.

As to my very rash “JAWS WILL DROP” comment: I rue the day my fingers every typed those words.

But… Thanks to a pick that surprised the stuffing out of our team, BruQuest really made our tourney. Thanks BruQuest. I am glad that we lived up to your picking us.

All for now.

Joe,
I have no doubt that you will have an awesome machine by the time we get to Nationals or sooner. Don’t think that our’s was anywhere tweaked either. We have made and will continue to make major improvements as opportunities arise.
No disrespect to our drivers, but they were not near their best. Thanks to the NUWC team (control system plans), we will have a partial robot done soon for them to practice, get used to the crab steering and develop all the proper manuevers necessary to be proficient.

Brian,
You know I want a rematch at Great Lakes. I think we will be better prepared for your awesome machine.

Keep tweaking; See you at Great Lakes.
