I was watching Chopper live the revenge and they had 6 weeks to build a chopper 3 teams had 6 weeks to dedicate themselves entirely to this challenge. I’m not saying that it is all easy to build one but they have been doing it for quite a while. FIRST students on the other hand have much less experience with an unknown challenge to develop a strategy, prototype, design, build and practice with the robot. We also have school and work to balance. Jesse James could not even finish in time so he got an extra 2 weeks. unfortunately if were not done we do not get another 2 weeks we just one hell of a Thursday at competition. it was an eye opener to how hard first actually is
