Welcome to Week 3 in the Chesapeake District! Two events are taking place as I speak: Hampton Roads and Northern Maryland. For teams attending these events, here is some info on the teams that you will be seeing.
Hampton Roads:
Triple Helix(2363): Low goal shooter that can defeat most defenses. They are ranked 3rd in the district, and made it to worlds in previous years.
ILITE Robotics(1885): This robot has low and high goal capability, and can breach defenses. They have already qualified for District Championships due to a Chairman’s Award at Greater DC.
There are also 7 rookie teams: 5804, 5950, 5954, 5957, 6021, 6189, and 6194.
Northern Maryland:
Power Hawks(1111): Low and high goal shooter. They can defeat most defenses. However, they cannot climb, and are low in the district rankings
Ursa Major(2849): Low and high shooter. They made several high goals at the Greater DC Event.
Titanium-Wrecks(4945): Breacher that can shoot low goal. They were picked at Greater DC, their previous event, but did not advance beyond quarterfinals.
4 rookie teams are present at this event: 5841, 5936, 5945, and 6213.
As this is the first post of a series, here is a recap of the events of the past weeks:
Week 0:
The first matches of FIRST Stronghold went well, with some robots attempting to escape the confines of the field. Here are some observations of the FIRST-sponsored Week Zero:
Week 1:
The first event of FIRST Chesapeake, Northern Virginia, kicked off. Teams like 1418 and 2363 quickly climbed up both district rankings and towers, and set the stage for Week 2.
Week 2:
Two events, Greater DC and Southwest Virginia, occurred during this week. 1418 defeated 686 to gain their second banner of the season, while 346 and their alliance rode to victory against 1262. As my team was at Greater DC, here is detailed scouting data for that event:

Crowdsourced Scouting:
If you wish to, use the link below to scout your events. It will place its data in a single public spreadsheet where every team or person who is interested can find data on teams. Happy scouting!
