CIMple encoder connector fell out

Has anyone expierenced this before? Any recommendations on how to fix? Maybe someone from @AndyMark? It happened to both sides of our drivebase. We have the rev encoders installed on both sides.

Did you superglue them in?

So the person who assembled them told me they came this way so I assumed it was assembled at factory. I now see the magnets/pin was assembled by us and we probably didnt super glue it. Thank you so much!

+1 on super gluing the magnet in place.

Iā€™m kinda curious but how are you holding your through bore encoders in place? The fit between the encoder inserts and the shaft should be pretty resistant to sliding out if the encoder is fixed to the gearbox.

Just like this: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.revrobotics.com/content/docs/REV-11-1271-AE.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwj9pIjt-qj2AhWIy4UKHYnIDqUQFnoECAQQAQ&sqi=2&usg=AOvVaw2SDLglMhUZS6bzfvFSxMhz

We were getting very odd encoder readings and went to check the encoder. When we cut the zip tie they all just fell apart :relaxed:
