Class of 2013 - FIRST Dean's List

Week 3 Virginia Regional:

Matt Aldridge - Team 422
Caroline Whitlock - Team 1033

Boston:

Joshua Segill, 4176
Nicole Lyle, 501 (an extra shout out to her, as her boss wouldn’t give her off work so her mentors came down and got the award!)

Is that maybe because they were the only person submitted?

Otherwise, that’s quite odd.

hey do they not select anyone one for deans list in the district events?

In FiM and MAR, the Dean’s List Finalists (and WFFA) get selected at MSC and MAR CMP. At least in Michigan, the nominees get recognized during opening ceremonies on Saturday.

Pittsburgh Week 3:

Naoka Gunawardena 3504
Nathan Utzman 2614

No, I know of several other fine young men and women that were nominated ( at least according to there mentors).

Smoky Mountain -

2856 - Michael Halwes

David Powell is with Team 1885. I was very happy to see both of these students be honored with this award, having had the opportunity to mentor both. Great Job Alice & David!

Thank you for the update. When the Dean’s List awards were being announced, we were still running back from getting the team picture taken from the EI award, so we missed hearing the Dean’s List intro and the first announcement, and David’s team number. We were still in the aisles when Alice was named (to her complete surprise).
