I’ve made these threads in the past and people always seem to enjoy them, so I figured I would make it again. It’s a great way for seniors to find others at their future colleges or endeavors, or even find alumni at their future destination. Personally this thread helped me meet some Clarkson students ahead of time.
So, class of 2017, where are you going next year? This can include college, military, work, or anything else.
Well I’m not a senior… But the seniors on my team don’t use CD, so I’ll take the liberty of speaking for them. Out of the four seniors that are graduating, two are going to Mercer university. (They are going to be roommates as well) Both are in STEM fields. The other two seniors are going to local colleges, one for a STEM related major and one unrelated.
Feel free to PM me if anybody is planning on (or thinking about) going to UW- Madison. I’ll be happy to answer questions since I attend the university.
Pending a UCLA waitlist decision, I’ll be attending the University of Michigan College of Engineering in the fall. They don’t have a “Chairman’s Award Presentation” degree, so I’ll be going into Computer Science instead. Go blue!
I am actually already in a dual enrollment program with Oakland Community College, so after this year, I will be at OCC for one more year, and then after that, there are several colleges I am looking to apply to, but as of right now something tells me I will probably end up going to Lawrence Tech and majoring in Computer Science.
After a rejection from Princeton and UW-Madison not offering any money, I decided to stay close to home at go to the University of Minnesota (Honors/College of Science and Engineering).

I am also not a senior, but I am a sophomore at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and would be happy to talk to anyone about RPI. I study computer science and mathematics and mentor 2791 on the side.
