Classmate vision software error

We have recently ran our class mate and installed the update and activated LabView 8.6 with the labview activation serial number found on their website.

We cant access NI Vision Assistant 2009 because it say our trial is over.

Our vision code doesn’t run either due to the inactivation of the vision assistant.

How should we activate it?

The FRC Software is all licensed through one License File. This will contain all of the information for LabVIEW and Vision etc. Are you able to load LabVIEW without being prompted for activation?

Can you load the NI License Manager (Start > Programs > National Instruments > NI License Manager) and try to right click on the Development System underneath LabVIEW 8.6.1 and select Activate. If you still cannot open Vision Assistant 2009 after this it is possible there is an issue with your License File.

Can you give us a Screen Shot of what your License Manager looks like? Make sure to have First Robotics Competition selected on the left hand side so that we can see the detailed information.

I also should be able to create a new License File for you. In order to do this I will need your serial number as well as the Computer ID. You can get the Computer ID by clicking Display Computer Information from the License Manager.

We just reinstalled the FIRST Labview Vision Software with an external cddrive with the disk provided and it worked
