Cnc router transport

We’ve changed our workshop as a team and we need to move the cnc routers from the old place to the new place. Do you have any suggestions and considerations for transportation.

What size are the routers? Smaller ones will fit in a hatch acknor van.

Take off the legs and rent a truck is my advice, for larger machines.

Here’s how @RoboChair towed our Velox CNC Router from SoCal to Davis back in 2014 (ages ago!) Good times!

I disassembled mine quite far, I left no big structures or joints that needed to be square connected for fear that something would get bent.

I then went through the factory setup, squaring, and tuning routine and it came online with no issues.

More work, but very conservative on risk.
