I saw your robot in 2012, and was very impressed by it. I see this robot and am blown away by it. That autonomous is killer. Great job guys, and I can’t wait to see it in action again.
We use encoders on the drivetrain to see how far we have driven, and a gyro to make sure we are driving straight. On the flywheel there is a 1 tick/rotation encoder to keep the shooter consistent. All of these are controlled by PID loops.

No, there is simply not enough time to shoot 3 discs, get 4 more, aim and shoot, get 4 more, and aim and shoot again. If you have a video of anyone doing this I’d love to see it.
