If you are near Denver, one of our sponsors has donated a substantial pile of extruded and and plate aluminum. You are welcome to some if you are in the neighborhood, especially over the upcoming fall school break.
Joel, I gotta say I love your generosity and the fact that you’re such a sincere guy. It’s nice to see people who do things because that’s who they are, not for some award or recognition.
Celebrating that five teams picked up truckloads of stock, at least two will share what they got with other teams, meaning seven or more teams will have stock this year. Thanks for helping us spread the word y’all! It’s all gone now and I couldn’t be happier.
Thank you sir
I have one more round of supplies to give away from our wonderful sponsor. This round is more specialized stuff, though many teams could benefit
First, six Ace Hardware screw and bolt bins and cases. These came from an Ace store that shut down some time ago. Second, a set of green stacking bins for small parts, about 20.
Finally, a large collection of Octanorm extrusion, connectors and peripherals. This is similar to 80/20 but is its own thing and is not compatible with it. Octanorm is used to build trade show booths, it has very firm connections and could be used to make a nice Super Pit. There’s probably enough here to accomplish that task.
