Colson hubs mounted lopsided

So my team just found out that the Colson wheels we planned to use have had the hubs mounted lopsided and all the wheels wobble about a quarter of an inch and vibrate the entire robot.

I’ve tried brute force methods from trying to mallet it into place, to using an arbor press on the side of the hub that is raised, unsuccessfully. (Although I did manage to bend the lever arm of our 2-ton arbor press with the help of a 4 foot long 1"x1").

Any suggestions on how to straighten them? Or should we just mark them unusable and use the wheels from last year’s robot?

Can you post a photo?

You could chuck them up on a piece of hex bar in a lathe and face them down. Freezing them first might help.

Wheel Wobble
Here’s a video of it attached to a drill on the chassis. All the wheels are more or less about this lopsided

Yes, not worth compromising your most important subsystem.

Seems like the only way this could happen is if the hub is not fully seated. I can’t tell from the video but can’t think of another reason. We had a bear of a time placing the hubs and had to redo some but eventually got them all seated squarely. Is that a possibility?
