Come see Asimo.

I just wanted make a head’s up post to anyone who might be reading from the Seattle area. Honda’s Asimo robot will be appearing at the Pacific Science Center on November 15 and 16 as part of a tour of North America. There will be three shows daily at 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00, and exhibit admission will be required to gain entrance.

This seems like a neat opportunity to get an up close look at the frontier of robotics.

The last I knew that contest was only sponsered by only Honda.

Hmmm… Maybee it is two separte competitions. I know of one where high school kids could write an essay and win. The topic was on humanoid robotics and there use in the future. Dam that thing is as old as I am. A lot of events related to robotics happened the year I was born. Maybe it is a coincidence.

does anyone know if there’s a posted schedule for Honda’s Asimo tour of North America?
