Comms on Roborio

Hi, I’m a programmer from 6016.
I’ve been trying to get the robot up for some testing, but I haven’t been able to get the robot connected to the driver’s station.
The radio we use seems to be working, since I’m able to consistently connect wirelessly. I’ve tried connecting via Ethernet as well; similar to the radio, the computer is able to find the connection, but the roborio’s comms remain off.
I’ve tried checked the roborio via the imaging tool: its image and firmware and seem up to date (the firmware is 6; I read on FRC’s site that it should 5 or later, but correct me if this condition has changed). I checked the ips of the roborio and the computer, and they also look fine (the ethernet port on the roborio remains lit as well).
The only thing that seems to be wrong is the comms, which remain off the entire time. What should I do? My electrical team is also stumped by this…

If the laptop you’re using has not been used for connecting to the robot before, check if the driver station software has your team number typed in.
