First of all, if you haven’t added your rookie year to your profile, go into your profile and put in your rookie year (last item on the page). Remember, it’s the year of the first game you participated in.
By my rough count, there are 327 people who have done it. That’s only 4.6% of the 7173 current members.
For example, with my rookie year of 1997, there are only 11 members who have been in FIRST longer then me. That’s only 2.8% of the people on chiefdelphi have been doing FIRST longer then me.
For all the year levels, I’ve included the number of people who started that year, and what percentage of people are “older”. The last column is a FIRST celebrity that you’ve done FIRST longer then.
1992 2 0%
1993 0 0.5% David Kelso
1994 2 0.5% Andy Grady
1995 3 1.0% Dave Lavery
1996 4 1.8% Chris Hibner
1997 11 2.8% Andy Baker
1998 17 5.9% Ken Leung
1999 28 10.3% JVN
2000 46 17.5% Rich Kressly
2001 62 29.3% Amanda Morrison
2002 74 45.2%
2003 84 64.3%
2004 54 85.9%
2005 1 99.7%
Given that I got very confused by the addition of the “FIRST Celebrities”, note that they started in the year after they’re listed on there. I think Joe’s just trying to confuse me at this point…
Reading across, if you started in 1994, there are 2 people that started the same year. There are only .5% of users older then you, and you are older then Andy Grady.
It confused me too Joe. Intuitively, when you list statistics next to a year, those are the statistics from that year. So the percentage older then you is fine, but moving the celebs back a year is confusing. Unless you were trying to find famous people for each year and had a gap somewhere…
I’m right there with you with the young’un stuff, but problem is…
I’m younger than you! I started in ‘03. Man I hate being one’o’ the babies…
It was bad enough I was the baby when I was a freshman and rookie! Now I’m one of them on here. Yuck!
i think i’m confused. so your rookie year is supposed to be the first game you participated in? even tho i was technically attending meetings since september, or whatever, of the year before? okay, i think i get it. and i think my year is wrong…
