completely confused (classmate isue)

Whenever we try to run the Basic FRC cRIO Robot Project (no edits to code) and then move the joysticks nothing happens. And in the drivers station program the three lights are green (Stop button, Robot Code, and the other one that slips me at the moment). In the errors section it says something about lack of communication with the camera.

Setup
Test board wired to specs from here under Hardware Documentation with one sidecar and no signal light. Then off of the classmate is the 4 port hub (red and black usb in) and an ethernet cable going to the cRio (note no I/O). On the classmate Labview update and drivers station update applied (from above link, under software section) with nicyapi.dll added to windows/system 32.

Any ideas.

I assume you re-imaged the cRIO with v19?

How are you downloading the code?
Use “Run as startup” rather than “Run” for now.

I also assume you clicked Enable on the Driver Station?

What is the status LED on the Digital Sidecar doing - off/solid/blinking?

There is a bug with the Dashboard install, so that can be double checked if you’re depending on it to show responses.

You don’t need the red USB plug from the USB Hub (doesn’t hurt either). That’s for greater power, but the black plug alone gives it all you need.

The Basic FRC cRIO Robot Project was the name of the project from last season. Can you post the version of LV you are running, and the version of the image on the cRIO.

The LV version comes from the Help>>About screen. The cRIO version from the DS Diagnostics tab.

cRio version is v19
LabView version is 8.6.1
Digital Sidecar lights all solid green

we (team 379) are getting a 44003 error (camera error) is what i think is our problem

This week that problem has usually been due to an older version of the Dashboard program that doesn’t work with the camera code on the cRIO and doesn’t get replaced when the Driver Station Update is installed.

Two solutions to that problem are:

  1. Run the Driver Station Update twice more.
Once to Uninstall (select “FRC Driver Station” & “Remove this feature”).
    Again to Install.
*]Build your own Dashboard program just by using the LabVIEW default Dashboard project. Example

Tried 1 working on 2 thanks even if it doesnt work
