My team was trying to turn on robot to prototype pneumatic system. The compressor would not compress and according to the error lights, we had a “sticky fault”. We replaced the compressor and continued to get the error. Nothing else is displaying error codes, what is at fault? Furthermore, is it possible to diagnose through the roborio web interface, and if so, how? Thanks!
I you are using the CTRE PCM, then you can use Phoenix Tuner to see what the sticky fault is.
If you are using the Rev Pneumatics Hub (PH), then use Rev Hardware Client to check what the sticky fault is.
Re-check the wiring, as I’m sure you have.
Pay real close attention to wire “whiskers” in the two red/black compressor connection.
A single strand of wire that bunches up and touches the opposite wire will short the compressor connection.
I’ve had the OMP radio cause glitchy behavior with the CTRE PCM when they are close by. Are they close by?
