Hi, we have Talon SRX and Talon FX from CTRE, for 2024 can we still use version 5 and the 2023 firmware? Are we getting 2024 firmware? We also have a Kraken order on the way, can we use version 5 or do we have to use version 6? Can we stick with the 2023 firmware or do we have to move to the 2024 firmware?

As far as I’ve read, you will need the 2024 firmware, which is currently still in beta. You should use v6, except for TalonSRX, which I believe is only available in v5. The Kraken uses the Talon FX, so programming wise it’s the same as Falcons. I don’t know if you’ll be able to keep using v5 with them, but you’ll probably get a lot of warning prints in your rio log for using deprecated code.
