confused, some startup help...

hey guys…
im not a beginner programmer, but ive never programmed for robotics before, and i just have a hard time grasping how the library is used and how it functions. i know that FIRST is releasing the new cRIO controllers, but even so, if anyone has any current documentation links, even for the old controllers, on how to start up using hte libraries, i looked the the Programming - getting started thread but most of the links are broken…
if someone can point on me on how this works, as in, creating a project and editing which files and edit what and the library functions and so forth, i would much appreciated

Last year’s documentation will not be useful for the new control system (with the possible exception of some of the Victor speed controller manual).

The specific information you want is not yet readily available to FRC teams at large. Team 1629 (the Garrett Coalition) in Oakland, MD is one of the Beta Test teams for the 2009 FRC controller. They should be presenting something helpful in the area.

Team 1714 (More Robotics) in Milwaukee, another Beta Test team, is doing a presentation tomorrow (Saturday, November 1) at 1:30pm Central Time. It will be viewable online. See this thread for details.
