CONGRATULATIONS MR. NOBLE!
He deserves this award so much… no, this isn’t the 71’er in me talking, I swear.
while members of my team know him…I have never had the pleasure of really getting to know him. however, one of my few experiences with him happened last week when i was looking for a 3/4 16 nut. he offered to go home and get one for the next day. thanks darrell
Congratulations Darrell and good luck at the Championship. Can 71 have another first in FIRST? Two WF winners from the same team!

Mr. Noble is the father of an advisor that used to be on team 461, and this guy is truly a class act. He and his wife have always been willing to help out our team and do whatever it takes to make great things happen. Not only is he incredibly talented technically, I can say that he’s among the elite group of people in this program who you could truly have as a role model.
He truly deserved this recognition, congratulations!
Matt
Huge congrats to Mr. Noble. He has really always been there for our team, ever since the very beginning of our program. He is sincere, good with the kids, very techincally sound, and a great person and role model. The Nobles have always opened their arms out wide to our team in every way shape and form, from giving the tech crew a place to sleep (all over their house even though they are mentors for another team) to making those great brownies, to helping us technically. Mr. Noble truely deserves this recognition. CONGRATS!!
During the four years that I was a part of Team 71, I had the pleasure of having Mr. Noble as a mentor. There’s just something about the guy…he’s like a big teddy bear that is handy with just about everything! He’s the biggest kid on Team Hammond. At meetings he is always joking around with everyone…kids, parents, and other mentors alike. When it comes to competition time, however, he puts his game face on.
His guidance and mentorship has helped me greatly now that I am a mentor for Team 1064. Anything our team has ever needed, he has been able to help us with as well. Last year, in 2003, we were at the Buckeye Regional for our first regional ever…Mr. Noble was there in support of 461 but ended up spending a good deal of time in our pit helping us with some radio problems.
Congrats again, Mr. Noble…you deserve it! I hope you have time to visit Coke World in Atlanta and can find something to add to your amazing collection :]
Congratulations, Mr. Noble
You have helped 461 through all the 3 years I have been on the team. You have inspired me to think big in Robotics. You, Chris, and Shannon essentially STARTED my team, and gave it the initial support to succeed.
You have also helped 461 through all its years of existence.
This award is EXTREMELY deserved, and should have come much earlier.
THANK YOU and CONGRATS!!!
p.s. LET’S ALL GO NUTS!!! ROBOTS! ROBOTS!
Congratulations Daryl.
Look forward to seeing you in Atlanta -
