I’ve been reading the rules for the Minibot. What are we supposed to use to connect our W739083 motors to our electrical hookup wires? I would think that terminal connectors would be appropriate, but they are not on the list. Am I missing something?
I believe that you will find that the FTC mini-kit provided through FIRST CHOICE will have the standard plastic clip that fits on the back of the FTC motors…(It should have one for each of the motors in the kit) It is used in the FTC competition and is actually a pretty good connector and MUCH better than trying to solder to the motor with wires or use standard terminal connectors
But I guess we will have to wait and see…

I disagree. Those Motor Power Cable can fall off and my FTC team experienced that a few times. Soldering the wires in is a good idea as long as the motors don’t burn up. Here is an alternate method for keeping the plastic clip secure: http://say-watt.org/wp2/archives/406
Yeah, but how heavy are they? 
We might not even use solder that’s too heavy. 
Gotta watch all those delta delta dx/dt’s.
