Contradicting Dimensions for Trident

Has anyone else found the contradicting dimensions on the drawings for the trident??? Which ones would be the best to use, 36" or 48"? Need an answer ASAP!

Which dimensions on drawing GE-10010.pdf are contradicting?

Or if they contradict some other document, which one is it?

It’s item 5 (GE - 10011) on sheet one of drawing GE - 10010. One measurment is calling for 48" and the other, one sheet 2, is calling for 36"

Look at the top right corner of the first sheet, it has the revision history. It states that revision 1.1 was to shorten the length of item 5.

My guess is that they forgot to change the length in the parts list, but they did change the length on all the drawings. Since it’s a scale drawing, you can see that the part is really only 36" long.

You might want to ask on the official Q&A though.

If you make it too long, you can cut it off later. If you make it too short, you can glue on a coupler and another piece of pipe later.

Thanks the guys didnt catch that

New dimension question…

G6.2.4 from udate number 3
“The PLATFORM is approximately 41 inches wide by 32 inches deep, and is at a height of *approximately 21 *inches above the floor. A 36-inch wide by 18-inch tall TUNNEL under the PLATFORM, providing a passageway between the MIDFIELD and the adjacent end ZONES.”

Rev B Game Field Specs:
Inside wall = 16 1/2 x 32 1/2
Upright stiffener = 17 x 3 1/2

SO we have built a platform to specs and prototyping team is complaining that platform is 1 inch too short…which is correct, the manual or the specs?

The drawings are the correct measurements:

when building the trident for our team, we used the 48" length and when we measured from end to end the length was as the size in the manual was, 6 feet. hope that helps

And in contrast - we built our according to the drawing and they were 5 ft., which also matched with the size of the trident at kick-off in Manchester, but not with the manual.
