Contribute to GMail Video (FIRST project?)

Hey guys…

Maybe we can get a robot passing along the envelope?

Help us imagine how an email message travels around the world. Take a look at the collaborative video we started, and then film what happens next. We’ll rotate a selection of the clips we receive on this page, and add the best ones to the video. The final video will be featured on the Gmail homepage and seen by users worldwide.

Cool. Who’s “we”? Are you suggesting each team submits their own clip, and hopefully some of them will be picked?

Every team (or a lot) should get 1 clip of them passing the letter from the side of the screen, picked up by the robot, and passed to the other side of the screen. Than we can get an “uber” good editor to mesh all of the teams’ miniclips to make one awesome robot clip. Does that sound like an OK, decent idea? Maybe even get a plastic ball and put the letter in there and shoot it from your 2006 robot to your 2007 robot…Make it to where the ball will fit in a tube or something and pick the tube up and than move it with the ball and the letter… some more ideas… and then upload to somewhere and have somebody edit. Done.

Pavan.

I was thinking that the TechnoKats should pick it up, put it in t-shirt cannon, and let it rip!
