We are using an xbox controller to drive our robot and the controls are showing up on the computer as if they are working, but the robot is not moving. Is this an issue with configuration, programming or is it something different?
Could you post your code? It would be helpful for debugging this problem.
What are the various statuses showing you?
Driver Station:
- Enabled
- Communications / Robot Code / Joysticks
- If using CAN control what does the Power & CAN tab show?
Dashboard:
- Joysticks feedback on the Drive tab (Do the buttons and joystick dots respond? Do the Drive Motor indicators change?)
On the robot:
- Motor Controller status lights (e.g., solid yellow or something else)
- How are the motor Controllers connected, e.g., PWM, CAN
