Controlling a Robot Sub-System with Arduino

I’m sorry if I’m posting this in the wrong forum. I was wondering if anyone could walk me through the process of getting an arduino to respond to input from the CRIO. My team is programming in LabView and any help in setting this process up through the LabView interface is greatly appreciated. Thanks

What will the arduino be doing? How much information do you need to pass back and forth to it?

The arduino will control a small few small motors on a stacker. It will be passing boolean values back and forth.

Sorry, the Arduino can only be used as a signal input to the cRio, such as sensor data. The cRio can then control the motors.

4.1.9.1 R55
ROBOTS must be controlled via one (1) programmable National Instruments cRIO (P/N: cRIO-FRC or cRIO-FRCII),
with image version FRC_2013_v47.

[quote]There are no rules that prohibit co-processors, provided commands originate from the

cRIO to configure, enable, and specify all operating points for all power regulating
devices. This includes Jaguar motor controllers legally wired to the CAN-bus.
