cool dynamic games/mini-apps in webpage

I recently figured out how to use the “webplayer” weature in Microworlds EX Robotics Edition, and have made a coupple cool programs, but am having some dificulties getting them to link to external data and such,

if anyone knows much about Microworlds, and the webplayer, please reply to this post…

the only opperational item is a creepy personality test that i made:

if you open the link, don’t install the applet that it prompts you with, use the one linked to at the bottom of the page… it’s hosted on my server, and downloads alot faster…

i’ve been working on a Jeopardy game, but it won’t run right…

what i really want to use this for is an interactive demo of our bot, but, the software won’t let me inport data when it’s in webplayer mode…

if anyone has any ideas, please let them be heard…

(btw, i despise of Flash…)

how do you make these programs? is it free? is it a good alternative to flash?

unfortunatley, Microworlds isn’t free, and, as far as i know, isn’t a good alternative to flash, since it takes a while to download a very uncommon webplayer…

in the same light, it’s great for uber-N008’s like me…

it’s fairly easy to use, and can store alot of stuff in one document… but, totally ignores all standards of modern programing:

ex: you never have to close quotes (and it breaks if you do…)

i don’t use flash at all, due to it failing once in a major-crunch-time situation, and costing me three letter grades (and i only had a b- to start with)

you can get more info about microworlds on their site (google “Microworlds”)
it’s made by LSCI…

hope this helps, but if you’re going to use flash, try doing what you want to do in Javascript, since it loads faster and runs smoother on most browsers…

also, you’re sig’s ip tracker is WRONG, and my browser is MSID (MS Internet Destroyer (version of firefox)) i also run linux, and the tracker said i ran XP…???

any explanations???
