Hello,
my team has the ADXRS450 Gyro that came in the kit of parts a few years ago and we are trying to find its fair market value online but we can not find its cost anywhere online? does anyone have a link to where its cost is?
Thanks!

I don’t think they’re currently available to be purchased complete.
You could use the cost of the chip:
And add the cost of the board:
thanks!
do you know whether if you start facing at 0 degrees and you turn left will it record negative angles?
Should be a counterclockwise coordinate system, so it’ll be positive CCW. You can always invert it, though.
Give this resource a look. It’s linked to from FIRST Choice and Analog Devices. Seems to have a lot of good info.
so clockwise would return negative values? Also if I turn a full four times clockwise would my current heading be at -360*4 or -360? @pntbll1313 @solomondg
You can test it to see what it gives you also, since it can depend on how you have the gyro/Rio mounted. The library is designed to count continuously, so the angle doesn’t roll back to zero or anything when you’ve completed a full rotation. Also check out the user guides which are available at wiki.analog.com/first
My gyro is in the bag with the robot, I forgot to withhold it so I could test it on an old bot. (We only have one gyroscope)
This is why I asked on here, because I didn’t have it to test with and I could not find the answers in the guides or docs for the gyro…does it go past -360 in the negative directionas well? Also does it go to the max and min double values? or does it have a cutoff? (ex. like -720 and 720 or something) like what happens if you turn 5 full times clockwise when you started at zero, what angle heading would you be at after this turn? I searched all the guides and docs for the gyro and couldn’t find this information…
I’ve never actually worked with this gyro. My best advice would be to look at the resource I linked above or search CD. Good luck!
thanks!
