We are in a situation where we have limited placement options for our PCM, and it was proposed to place it on top of a series of the pneumatic valves. I’m concerned that the current surge inherent in solenoids could result in an electromagnetic pulse coupling into the PCM electronics if they are very close (less than 1") to the valves. Is this a valid concern? If so, what minimum distance should we achieve?
You are talking milliamps of current. I can’t imagine that causing a problem.
Thank you!
