cRIO Problem

Ok, I’m sure this question has been asked multiple times on other forum threads, but my patience grows thin  so I will just go ahead and state my error. In LabView when we try to deploy a project to the controller, LabView says that it has failed to connect to a real-time connected to a real-time target. We have the correct ip address assigned to the controller but it won’t connect, the battery is good but the status light is yellow. could that be part of our problem? Please help us as this is going to be extremely important to have a working robot this year

Thanks

Please download this great little tool (thanks Team 1629) http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70724&highlight=pinger

It will give you the status of your pc,router, DS, bridge and crio. Then you can tell if your problem is software or hardware.

…I love you  haha thanks

ok so we have connection with everything except for the bridge and the cRIO. does this mean we may have to re-update the cRIO or something?

to solve this problem … upgrade the crio by FRC cRIO Imaging Tool
then try to deploy the project again …

It sounds more like your bridge isn’t connecting to the router. (Connect directly to it and configure it to connect to the router)

How do you configure the router?

nevermind we got it working

For all of your getting started configuration needs, please consult the following documents at USFIRST.ORG. The first is the official launchpad with “every” link. You’ll definitely need to go through the first 5 chapters in sequence (painful but critical). The other two links are for LabVIEW training (and were obtained from the launchpad site).
