Hey our PDH recently started giving random voltage drops to a 12v to 19v converter on our bot. Looking at the PDH in RHC shows an active hardware fault and a “CSA Channel Read” error. Unplugging the converter has done nothing. Any idea what could be causing this?
Random drops sounds like a bad connection, which could be a breaker connector issue or even an internal connection. Have you reached out to Rev support? Have you tried changing which channel the converter is plugged into?
We had an issue like this last year. We had the sticky faults on channels, which showed a CSA channel read error in Rev Hardware Client. Attached is our contact with Rev. TL;DR the CSA chip has no impact on the usability and therefore is safe to continue using.
We contacted Rev as our Rio was disconnecting often, turns out this was not the issue but it was something else.
Took it off the bot and hooked up to external power with nothing plugged into any outputs and the issue persisted. We’re gonna email Rev.
Update: PDH was replaced free of charge.
