If anyone in Connecticut is going to the Meriden Daffodil Festival tomorrow, Team 228 will be selling BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches in the main food tent. We’ll all be wearing our orange team tee shirts, and we’ll probably have our 2007 robot there, so it’s hard to miss us. =)
What’s a Daffodil Festival? Are there lots of daffodils?
(Pulled pork is good with dill pickles)
I just wrote this post, put the CD newpost php ate it (I’m on my cell phone)! I’m currently at this event, and I must say, I’m very impressed. 228 makes a mean sandwich. I just spent about an hour talking to the members of GUS, including Arthur, and I must say that this is a great fundraiser. It has spurred a lot of thoughts amoung our team about diferent fundraisers. Good job GUS and keep up the good work!
Jacob
Jacob, you are right! This is an awesome fundraiser! The sandwiches were great, but of course, ANY food made by a FIRST team as a fundraiser is GREAT! And it was so easy to spot GUS’ booth under the tent - how could you miss the tube way up in the air on top of their robot???
AHHHHHHHHHH!!! :ahh: :ahh: :ahh:
I wish I had read this yesterday since today I had* absolutely* nothing planned and now missed it all.
I’d like to get all the CT teams in the habit of checking the CTFIRST website for info about upcoming fundraisers and other events that you can help out with, or attend. Please pass the website info on to other teammates and other teams you encounter. And don’t forget to send info to be posted also!
