I have a question to CTR about licensing Krakens and Pigeon connected to the CANivore.
If we have a 2025 season pass license, do we ALSO need to buy the CANivore one (in addition to that), or is it sufficient to just put season pass licenses on the individual motors/Pigeon connected to the CANivore?
The season pass comes with the license for 99 devices, which is more than enough for us.
yes, season pass is enough.
You can license each device individually on the can bus and have the same functionality as you would with the unlicensed devices on a licensed canivore.
The only downside is you need to license every device as opposed to the canivore which only requires licensing the canivore.
Season pass also allows you to use pro features like FOC on both CAN busses, whereas canivore license requires all devices using pro features to be on the canivore.
