Ctre swerve generator what else we need to know

We are finishing up are swerve drive for the upcoming season all we have to do is get the ctre swerve generator and do it. With that what should we know when going into this is it as simple as the documents say or will we be in for a huge surprise.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

CTRE Swerve Generator is pretty easy to use, but there are a few things to note:

  1. Before you start generating the project, factory reset all drive motors/cancoders.
  2. Before you configure the cancoder offsets, you’ll need to move the module’s facing such that it drives forward with positive drive voltage. Then, push the wheels with a long stick to strictly align them.

I highly recommend toying with advantage scope and data logging. It will save you tons of headaches and it’s pretty easy
