Cutting Edge '05!

Here’s our robot a couple of hours before ship time. We actually managed to get some of our graphics on it after this was taken.

(sorry for the size of the pic, its the only one currently uploaded!)

WOW. Great looking machine…Very sophisticated. Guess we’ll see it in action next week  Great Job.

I agree with Mark, Great looking machine! Another example of Cutting Edge technology! Good luck to you guys. I look forward to working with you in FL. Enjoy the bus ride with our folks!

South Carolina represent!

It looks very nice–I’ll be very interested to see it at Palmetto.

what did you use to mount extruded Al at that angle?

We ordered a kit of connectors, sliders, etc. that worked with our extruded aluminum. In that kit was a piece that could slide into the slot of the aluminum and tightened up with one of the sliders in the groove. I don’t know the exact name/ part number for the part, but if you have any more questions, just PM me and I can get it to you.

This is a little late in comming but I have a correct answer for the question. The extruded alluminum was A) cut in half down the middle, being that they were only supports. B) We attached hand made mounts bent at the right angels. And we used standerd 80-20 connecters and such to attach them. It was pretty simple.
