Some background: I am a mentor on an Indiana team, as you can see from my profile. I am getting my MBA and thought using robotics for a data analysis project could be cool.
In my current grad-school class, I need to do a simple data analysis project. Nothing complex. The topic is pretty open, so I thought I would do something relating to success within the FIRST Indiana District, FIN. I have a survey linked below. I would really appreciate for each team from FIN to fill it out.
I only need it from each team once. So the lead mentor or whoever may know the answer to the questions should fill it out. If you could share the post with other teams in Indiana just so it gets around that would be great. I know District Championship is this upcoming weekend. I plan to try to talk about it, but most people are pretty busy and there are plenty of teams not there too.
The questions are pretty normal questions, i.e. build hours per week, team make up, budget, etc.
Most of these have been answered before for official FIN surveys. I will need the data before the Championship in Houston, so if you could just take a quick minute and fill it out, that would be much appreciated. I am more than willing to share the finalized product with those who participated as well.
I am only looking for Indiana teams, as comparing to other districts, or non district teams may skew the data I am looking at.

I am going to use this as a place to keep track if others want to help rally the teams. I will cross them off when I have them. I know some of the not crossed off teams have been contacted, but I will cross off any team that fills it out as soon as I can after I see the submission. Hey there, do you have a firm date you want form turned in by? Since almost all the 5188 mentors go to Rose and are off for the week for spring break, it might take a bit longer on our end to get around to the Google Form.
To be able to use the data, it would need done no later than April 24th. As soon as I get back from Champs, I will be digging into it. Thank you for your consideration
Just filled it out for us (5188), although the exact numbers were a little rough for some of the requested values.
The ‘Cumulative Seasons of Mentor Experience’ in particular was a very rough estimate, since we have a large number of mentors, but most have been in FIRST for less then 5 years (all the mentors are college students after all).

I did not get enough data points to make a good analysis, so I wouldnt hold anything it says as accurate, but I got enough to do the assignment.
