Okay, as usual you folks at Chief Delphi are smarter than I am, and to make it easier for those who can’t get out of bed early to vote when the polls open at 6:00 a.m., team 558’s Friendly’s Family Fun Night has been changed to Tuesday, November 18, 2008. Location still the East Haven Friendly’s on Frontage Rd. (right off exit 51 of I-95), time still 5:00-8:00 p.m. In addition to the great food and service by team members, mentors, and Hill Regional Career High School teachers, we will be raffling off gift baskets, so please come and support the Sqaud in its bid to return for a second time to Atlanta.
you guys are lucky. the friendlys in our neighborhood got replaced with a deli. I definetly love ice cream more than cheese steak.
Just bumping this thread to remind the good folks at Chief Delphi that the 558’s Friendly’s family fun night is tomorrow, Tues., Nov. 18, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Friendly’s on Frontage Rd. in East Haven, CT, just off exit 51 of I-95. If you’re in the area and in the mood for some fun and food, stop by. We’ll have last year’s robot there, as well as some vex bots, and some great baskets that we’re raffling off just in time for the holidays.
How did this turn out for the team? Positive experience? Any bad things you care to share if a team decides to do one of these?
Sorry I couldn’t make it - I wanted to, but we had a team meeting of our own that same night getting ready for a Pancake breakfast fundraiser this coming Sunday.
