-Matt 131

I just want to say great job and thanks to 88 and 839… even when strategies didn’t go as planned (did they ever really? :P) all three alliance members were able to adjust on-the-fly and do what as necessary to win…

We had a great time… we’ve been waiting to take a competition with 88 (ever since Battlecry last year when we should have won  ) and it was great fun… As well, 839 is a great rookie team that we look forward to seeing good stuff from in the future…

congrats as well to 95, 121, and 131… all awesome teams.

Congratulations to 88, 190 and 839!!! You guys are wicked awesome!

Also, Special Thanks to 95 for the pick and 121! You guys are both great teams to work with!!!

Special Thank to Andy Grady!!! Andy-River Rage Would NEVER be the same with out you!!! OR any other competition OR C.H.A.O.S.!! You are definitely a future voice of FIRST!!! I am honored to call you my brother!

And on awesome people…of course thanks to Ken and Jestin who came back from UNH to help out C.H.A.O.S.!

Thank you to all of the teams that participated in River Rage 6. You were all great. We hope you will come back for River Rage 7!!!

And thanks to Ricksta for making a post that no one had to complain about

River Rage was much more fun than I anticipated (and that was a lot!). I have rarely been so impressed with a group of young people.

Holy smokes! Team 88 is a crazy human explosion! You guys rock!

I Love you team 237!

Oh, and you’re welcome team 151. You guys are great!

I was wondering did anyone notice our mattch when we sent the goal over the rail and won? i think that might have won the best play award until 88 pushed 121, but good job, and u made us break ourt bot, (no hard feelings:))

Miss Tree… If you think THAT was fun, just wait until you can experience an ACTUAL Regional Competition.

The Regionals are run much more organized and smoother (which was a problem at River Rage). There is blaring music, MUCH more people and teams, more craziness in the pits, more excitement, a big, BIG screen which shows all the action close-up as well as the scores and rankings. There are judges and refs everywhere.

Overall, the regionals are more “serious” than the off-season competitions, so in turn it is many times more fun.

What is C.H.A.O.S. an acronym for? Because it’s spelled like an acronym.

I seriously plan on going in March, to the regional in NH. I have to anyway to see what it ALL is like so that I can more accurately portray the ficticiuos members of a FIRST team in my next book.

dont thank me. thank kristen. I was really sad mad and confused after losing. i wanted to post some bad things at first, but then i talked to kristen and she told me to be nice on the boards. so i did my best. cant wait for bash.

Hi all,
As the season draws to a close I just want to say thank you to everyone involved at River Rage…though there were control problems and the DJ backed out, I would say that as a whole the competition was a success. Special thanks to team 811 for using the boom box on their cart to provide as much music as they could, and also to everyone who wasn’t bashful when I went up to them with the microphone. Also I want to say great job to all the teams who attended. It was a very exciting competition down to the bitter end. I can’t wait for River Rage 7!!!

Finally I just want to send out a big thank you for everyone who has supported me in my play by play efforts. Especially teams 140, 131, 501, 95 and 40 for letting me do play by play in the competitions they put on. You guys are a blast to work with and have been amazingly supportive. And also a big thank you to the BAE Systems teams 151 and 166 for throwing my name out to the organizers of the Granite State Regional for the announcing job. Though I haven’t recieved the job yet, the support you guys have showed me has been amazing and even if I don’t get the job, I am truely honored by your efforts. Thank you to everyone!

With that, I wish everyone a happy halloween, thanksgiving, merry x-mas, and happy new year!

congrats to 88, 839 and 190. The finals were amazing, and very close. Nice job everyone.

PS Hopefully next year Timberlane will be an official team so that we wont be using our previous year bot that wasnt designed for the game

Personally I would like to congratulate teams (190 and 839) for an awesome job as alliance partners. Secondly I would like to congratulate Andy for an awesome job announcing as usual. Can’t wait till you do Manchester that would be awesome. Third I would like to congratulate that little kid that said his favorite team was Team 88 Moe says just come to him in High School and he has a spot for you on the team. LOL I would like to congratulate (121, 95, and 131) for a heck of a finals. Oh though I didn’t think it was cool when the guy tried to get the match DQ’ed because he thought that we were pinning you to the wall. But other than that did anyone go to the fair afterwards. I didn’t see any other teams there this year. Usually there is like maybe five teams I thought it was a little strange. Oh well, does anyone know when Bash of the Beach? Let me know

Hmm. As someone who was too far away from home to go watch my old team compete in RiverRage, does anyone want to fill me in? Awesome finals? Who Seeded and picked who? Any information at all would be great. Thanks

Chris

I also wish to thank Ricksta for such a “calm” post. No complains here at all! Keep doing this and you’ll be ok in my book.

Ok as far as I can remember top five teams picked alliances with the rule being you can’t pick anyone from the top five
Top five were

  1. 88, 190, 839
  2. 95, 121, 131
  3. 155, 213, 501 I think
    4)?
    5)?

Eventually after alot of confusion as to who plays who and who gets the byes Alliance 1 and Alliance 2 played with Alliance 1 sweeping 2-0. If anyone has footage of the last match can you post it here it was sooooo… close

Very Interesting! I was wondering how you were going to incorporate the O.S. back into C.H.A.O.S. after your situation changed.
