I just wanted to encourage everyone to nominate a female member of their teams for the FIRST/Autodesk Design Your Future Award. It is an amazing honor and opportunity to open a deserving girl on your team. The internship is an awesome experience, and the cash donation you the school is a great start to investing in the future female leaders of your teams.
As well, don’t forget about all the other awards and scholarships available for students, teachers and engineers… the deadline for many are coming up soon!

I like how only girls had replied to this so far…
anyways, i second lora’s second of becky’s second.
coming from a hardcore tech school with a 3:1 male:female ratio, i know we need more female engineers and stuff and this is a great opportunity to help someone along.
