Hey ChiefDelphi,
I was wondering what you used to play the GMA
video that you put on the web. I tried to play it with
Quicktime, Real, and Windows Media Player. But
nothing work. Well this is the stats that I got of
quicktime
Video: AVI compressed in codec “DIV3” (Never
heard of it)
Audio: Mp3
Thats very nice compression but most people
need a powerful computer and the software to do
it.
Did anybody was able to play it?

It’s encoded with the Divx
Codec. This is not the same thing as Divx which as an initial competitior to DVD. Divx ;-)'s original origins aren’t too clear. At any rate, it’s an implementation of an early MPEG-4 standard (some say that it was stolen from Microsoft). Off hand I don’t know where you can download the Divx
codec but if you do a search on Google you should be able to find it. You then need to run it in Windows Media Player. It played fine for me then.
