Hi I am pre-scouting Houston (sounds crazy I know) but I already have 150 teams out of the supposed 400. I know I won’t get all of them done, but when are divisions suppose to come out for Houston?

There’s no set date, but since no more teams can qualify for Houston (team’s can’t qualify for Houston in week 7 per a blog post), I would say we’ll have divisions by Monday at the latest. We still have to wait for all the waitlist teams to accept/deny before FIRST can generate the divisions.
I would not expect them until at least the 16th or 17th, as Week 7 events have not occurred yet.
I don’t know when the divisions are supposed to come out but coodos to you for taking the time do it. And just saying it’s probably a suicide mission this close to the event.

Last year they came out Friday evening before the championship. Previously they had come out on the Wednesday before.
Of course, you could always sign up for to be notified when they are released on my website frc.divisions.co.
No teams participating in this week’s events have Houston as their home championship. Teams that qualified week six have until today or tomorrow at the latest to have their robots crated and shipped to Houston so I do not believe it is necessary for FIRST HQ to delay Houston division announcement until completion of week 7 events. Just need to contact Houston waitlist teams to fill the roster.

In 2002 through 2004 the divisions were released the Tuesday 9 days before the beginning of the championship. That ended up ranging anywhere from before the last regional ended (2003) to 10 days after the last regional ended (2002).
In 2005, the divisions were released on a Monday, 10 days before the beginning of the championship (9 days after the end of the last regionals).
In 2006, the divisions were released on a Friday, 13 days before the beginning of the championship (13 days after the end of the last regionals).
In 2007-2009, the divisions were released on a Wednesday, 8 days before the beginning of the championship (3-4 days after the end of the last regionals).
In 2010, the divisions were released on a Thursday, 7 days before the beginning of the championship (4 days after the end of the last regionals)
In 2011, the divisions were released on a Friday, 13 days before the beginning of the championship (6 days after the end of the last regionals)
In 2012-2015, the divisions were released on a Wednesday, 8 days before the beginning of the championship (4 days after the end of the district championships).
In 2016, the divisions were released on a Friday, 6 days before the beginning of the championship (6 days after the end of the district championships).
Right now I’m more concerned about the release of the divisions for MSC.
