Do the bumpers have to be level with each other?

We made 2 corner bumpers to cover the whole robot and we noticed that one side of the corner bumper was in the way of our intake, blocking it from reaching the floor. the only way the bumpers would work if the bumper was tilted down in the area of the intake and the tilted up on the other side of the robot. This is only done for one of the corner bumpers for each set. Is this allowed or does the whole bumper have to be levelled with each other

When you say 2 corner bumpers, you mean they are 2 very long L shapes, and gaps (if they exist) are 1/2" maximum right?

The bumpers do not have to be level with each other, but they do have to be within a 7.5" zone from the floor.

yes they are long L bumpers

Does this mean that the wood panels are not vertical to the floor? That would be a problem.

But if it means that one part of the bumper assembly is lower than other parts, no problem. As long as it all fits in the 7.5" bumper zone.

This is what we have, our front and back bumpers are at different levels. the “front” is 1" higher than the back (we pick up notes under the front bumper, inside the bot) and the sides are shaped to accommodate the offset, they are a very slight “Z” shape if that makes sense.
