There are ways to do it, but they are not cheap. I just read about one program in 3d Graphics World. Take a look at that magazine for more info.

Since a car contains lots of curved, complex surfaces, I don’t know how successful you’d be in creating a 3D model from a 2D photograph.
The first piece of software that does this that came to mind was something called Canoma. It’s made by Metacreations, the nice people behind PowerGoo and things.

That might be what you’re looking for. I don’t know how much it costs, though.
