thanks a-lot
Reuven (team 3211)
This seems to be the official FRC Kickoff Page. There’s no time listed, so I’m not 100% sure.
The local kickoffs seem to start at 9 AM Eastern US. So I’d wager either 9 AM EST or 9:30 EST.

The Kickoff broadcast starts at 10:00AM, per the NASA TV Schedule.
That’s 10:00AM Eastern, just to clarify.
For those of you unfamiliar with EST, CST, MST and WST:
Eastern Standard time is GMT -5. If I did my math right, Israel (where the OP is from) is 7 hours ahead of EST, so their broadcast would begin at 5pm (17:00) local time.
this cause a problem because my tram is made from 3 schools , and 2 of them are Jewish religious and Shabes ends in 17:33 (in my part of the country) in JAN 7th.
so we will need to find a solution for seeing the kickoff …
Well, remember, the first hour (at least) of the kickoff broadcast is all speeches and introductions, the game animation probably won’t be shown until an hour to an hour and a half after the broadcast starts.
Also, the kickoff is pre-recorded this year. You won’t get too much more from watching the live broadcast, I think.
well both of you guys are right about it, but we wanted to watch the whole broadcast as one big 3211-family, and this i guess will be impossible.
but thank-you anyway
So, after havdalah, link on to NASA TV and you’ll see the game. You can always go back and see the intros later. You will also want to see the kickoff workshops that will be held Friday am; they should be up on the FIRST website after the Kickoff broadcast.
From Bill’s Blog Update, 12-21-2011:
The broadcast, by the way, is scheduled to begin at 10:30AM ET.
In Israel, that will (I believe) be at 5:30PM, or 17:30.
I think they start on 10:00’o clock, but i’m not sure of these is well.
1030 EST, per Bill’s Blog. For those of us on the West Coast of the US, that’s 0730 PST.
