Sorry I can’t help with the menu sequence, but I do know just exactly what your’e trying to do, my son has a sansa e260 or something that he broke the screen on. Problem is it seems to run real hot and short battery life with a broken screen. He also broke the outer screen on a Samsung A900M phone, same problem…
Can’t wait till they get flexible OLEDs in all this stuff!
If I can get it over to Mass Storage device mode I’m going to try and remove it from it’s case and cut out the screen ribbon cable…
I bet the screen area would be cool without a screen: like a viewport into the guts of the player
anyway back on topic:
does anyone own this type of mp3 player? Or any other sansa mp3 player? (i’m willing to try the instructions that work for other players… maybe it’s the same menu)
Oh my FSM! that’s awesome! how did you manage navigating the sandisk website?
Thanks alot!

p.s.
now that it works I don’t want to cut the screen out… it was vital in positiong myself on the menus (long words appeared partially on the half of the screen I had)
