Does H303 mean I have to leave my cell phone behind when going into the Arena?
It does say “enabled wireless electronic communication” and I believe as long as the phone has airplane mode on and WiFi or Bluetooth disabled, it would be fine.
I’d recommend putting your cellphones on your robot cart or in your pits
Y’all are reading the wrong part of the rule. The very first sentence says “The only equipment that may be brought to the ARENA and used by DRIVE TEAMS during a MATCH is listed below.” As long as you aren’t using your cell phone during a match, you are fine. I have never left my phone in the pit, and have often times used my phone to communicate with my team in the minutes leading up to a match while other teams are setting up and field reset is finishing.
