As alot of you know the bins aren’t the hardest thing to break, and in a couple of matches i saw bins break but not actually go in peices just kind of flaten. so i was wondering if a bin is “flatened” does it count at a point?? i wouldn’t see why not but the refs are really streching the rules.
in a word… yes
i was field reset crew member/inspector of robots at the chesapeake regional, and i got a lot of time to talk to some important people, we counted any bin that was in the zone, and we were often hard up to replace the busted up ones, but as i recall, we counted the bins that were in pieces too, as long as the main part, or most of it was in the zone, we had a couple come just short of shattering. i can’t vouch for the rest of the competitions, but i think it’s a fair assumption that they will be counted. good luck to you all, i’ll be watching… via NASA feeds from PSU
