Does WCP have the worst hold music possible?

“Please hold for the next available representative, thank you for your patience.” every 15 seconds really rubs in how long you’ve been waiting on hold.

Please just answer the phone, our Krakens have been stuck in customs for over a week now.

Definitely not the worst. This is far worse imo.

Edit: Actually I petition for WCP to use this as their hold music.

Maybe they can use the elevator music from the Stanley parable. Much better. The humming, random comments and sighs of boredom are the best part while you’re just waiting.

They should play Cotten eye joe as their hold music, it would be just like a competition!

90% sure this isn’t played anymore, or it’s not supposed to be because it’s on the do not play list.

With robocallers being so prevalent these days, I have found that email gets a far faster response than a phone call with WCP.

Maybe a competition a few years ago… it’s been off the list for a few seasons

Are any vendors actually able to do anything once items are in the hands of Customs? I don’t know how the process works.

Hopefully, but we’re not sure.

We’ve been in contact with FedEx since the 9th and they where quite responsive at first. Unfortunately now we haven’t received any response to any of our emails or phone calls since Wednesday

Possibly poke Customs with “our customers have not received their purchase because you haven’t released it, is it something on our end?”

(Or similar message to the shipping company.)

Not much otherwise, methinks.

No need to worry, we still have all of these memorable ones!

Sometimes we’ll get a message from the shipping company saying an order (in or out) is stuck in customs. Sometimes it’s treatable, sometimes not. We definitely do put in time trying to track down what’s wrong in these cases, so it’s always worth emailing the supplier to make sure there’s nothing they can do on their end.

I’ve heard way worse hold music. Bosslaser, the company we use for professional laser cutting, seems to use a twelve-year-old radio and a $2 microphone for hold music. It’s so dreadful, that you hang up. But maybe that’s the point.

Nice try. I’ve memorized both the short and long forms of the URLs. (Too many jokesters in my extended family)

anyone have a playlist link?

This is so real, i’m having flashbacks to being on hold for an hour trying to ask about a missing order, then giving up and writing an email for them to respond in 5 minutes via email like what :skull:

I assume that “do not play” PDF came from Event Music | FIRST - the filename matches, at least, and there is also a “play” list there (but in Excel format).
